Install on Windows
Fexl Lite for Windows ships as a code-signed MSI installer. Windows 10 (build 1809) and Windows 11 are both supported — 64-bit only. Once installed the Tauri auto-updater handles every release after.
Install
Download the MSI
Use the link in your purchase email or downloads.fexl.io. The file is Fexl-Lite-2.2.0-x64.msi, about 75 MB. Save it somewhere you can find — Downloads is fine.
Run the installer
Double-click the MSI. Windows shows a User Account Control prompt asking for permission to install — click Yes. The wizard takes the standard Next → Next → Install path; the only choice is the install folder, which defaults to C:\Program Files\Fexl Lite\. Leave it unless you have a reason.
Launch from Start menu or desktop
The installer creates both a Start-menu entry under Fexl Lite and a desktop shortcut. Press the Windows key, type fexl, hit Enter — that’s the fastest path. Pin it to the taskbar from the right-click menu so it’s one tap away during a shift.
Let the first launch finish
The app boots into the activation screen. From there the first-launch flow covers license key, owner PIN, and the store-info wizard.
Updates
The Tauri auto-updater fetches new releases in the background, shows a banner in the app header when one is ready, and installs on the next restart. You don’t need to re-run the MSI for routine updates — only for major version migrations, which we’ll call out in the release notes.
Uninstall
Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Fexl Lite → Uninstall, or run the MSI again and pick Remove. Both leave your data folder (%APPDATA%\com.minib2c.pos\) untouched so a reinstall picks up where you left off. To wipe everything, delete that folder after uninstalling — but export a backup first from Settings → System → Backup.
